What an incredible adventure we had in Antarctica and South Georgia on-board the Scenic Eclipse. We were on-board for 18 days after boarding the ship in Ushuaia.
We experienced 6m swells crossing the Drake passage but we were lucky not to experience any sea sickness and were rewarded for our patience with magnificent views when we awoke on day 3 in the Antarctica Peninsula.
We had twice daily excursions which included landings, zodiac tours, stand up paddle-boarding and kayaking. We also did an incredible helicopter flight which really gave perspective to the size of Antartica.
South Georgia was incredible as well, teaming with wildlife including king penguins, fur seals and elephant seals.
And the ship was super luxurious, the staff were incredible. All meals on-board were a highlight and the spa ✨️ I could go on forever but luckily there was is a lovely video of our trip. Let me know if you spot us! We are so thankful for this opportunity and to be travelling once again.
