Wow what a rollercoaster the past few weeks have been, with both Ben and I working in the travel industry we’ve certainly been kept busy with all the changes and assisting our own clients navigate this uncharted territory and are our heads spinning.
Luckily I had the lovely Murphy to keep me company while I house and pet sit in Melbourne whilst Ben is starting his new role by the beach in Newcastle. (Congratulations to Ben) I’ve since joined Ben in Newcastle and we’ll be staying here for the foreseeable future.
As expected the house sits I was planning to complete in France were cancelled, and the Australian government has since issued a ban against all international travel this week so we’re waiting and watching along with the rest of the world.
I have found myself in daily contact with friends and family, lots of video chats and check ins which is the one lovely upside of being forced to take life more slowly.
