Just wanted to share a little post about how we’ve focused on our health during our travels especially the last 12 months and we are both feeling great and Ben in particular is looking amazing. The main change was to our diet, we found intermittently fasting (16:8) and keto to be the most successful. As well as being active as much as possible, hiking, snow-boarding and kite surfing as well as fitness and yoga classes. We also had a cheat day every week which helped us focus the rest of the time while still allowing us to enjoy the destinations we visited.
The slow travel really helped as well as we had a kitchen to prepare food and we could join local gyms or yoga studios while in the area. For me the short term routines were easy to follow because they were time limited and Ben loved to challenge himself to keep his average steps up each month.
