Meet Ivy and Molly, who we had the pleasure of spending a week with just outside of Brisbane.
We also got to have a great night out with our mate Jimmy, singing karaoke which was fun and is one of Ben’s favourite pre covid activities.

All up we were lucky enough to see out the whole NSW lock-down out up in Queensland, we spent a month looking after Jensi and Milly in Mountain Creek while their Mum and Dad took their two dogs and adventure camping set up, all the way up to Cape York and back.
Initially Jensi (the black and white cat) was quite timid and hid from us but we won him over in a few days and then he became quite the snuggle bunny. Milly was a friendly lap cat from day one.
We really enjoyed this spot for kitesurfing as well as we were able to access multiple spots nearby at Cotton Tree and down at Caloundra.

We also went diving on the HMAS Brisbane which was our first wreck diving experience and even went swimming with humpback whales off of Mooloolaba.

We also got the opportunity to attend the 14th annual Caloundra Music Festival at the beautiful Kings Beach on the Sunshine Coast, held over the October long weekend. It was great to see and hear live music, sitting in the sun and we even got to dance though the dance area was limited to 250 people at a time so there was a line up and masks were required.

From here we headed back to Twin Waters, taking care of Jak and Eva for a third time while their Mum and Dad celebrated a birthday up on Magnetic Island. Jak is convinced he is the perfect lap dog size.

Next we we’re back down the coast to care for a full house of cuteness with two dogs and two cats for another week in Wurtulla.
And finally we were headed for our last Queensland sit in Noosa, however Sam’s Dad took ill and she decided to jump in the car and head down to NSW.
Ben remained to stay care of Panda, so the homeowners could still get away. Which is why booking a couple is a good contingency. That way in case of emergencies there can still be a sitter.

Luckily Sam’s Dad is well again and Sam & Ben will be reunited again soon. In the meantime Sam has been taking the family dog, Hendrix out during her visit.
